INAPRUBAHAN ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) na ilagay ang National Capital Region (NCR) at ang lalawigan ng Laguna sa ilalim ng modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) simula ngayong Sabado, Agosto 21, 2021 hanggang Agosto 31, 2021.
Gayundin, inaprubahan ng IATF na ilagay ang lalawigan ng Bataan sa ilalim ng MECQ simula Agosto 23, 2021 hanggang Agosto 31, 2021.
“These latest classifications are without prejudice to the strict implementation of granular lockdowns,” ayon kay Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.
Ang mga local government unit ng mga nabanggit na lugar ay binigyang direktiba na pagbutihin ang kanilang vaccination rates, Prevent-Detect-Isolate-Treat-Reintegrate (PDITR) strategies, at pagtalima at pagsunod sa Minimum Public Health Standards.
Samantala, hindi pa rin pinapayagan sa NCR, Laguna at Bataan ang mga indoor at al-fresco dine-in services, personal care services kabilang na ang beauty salons, beauty parlors, barber shops at nail spas.
Mananatili namang “virtual” ang mga religious gathering sa NCR, Bataan at Laguna.
“These protocols shall be observed in the aforesaid areas under the inclusive dates they are under MECQ,” ang pahayag ni Sec. Roque. (CHRISTIAN DALE)
